Tip of the week29 April 2024

Low price doesn't necessarily guarantee high volume sales, and high price may make a product more appealing and increase demand. Prices and price lists are at the basis of almost each transaction, making pricing transparency essential for business operations.

New Price List Columns

SAP Business One introduced two new columns in sales and purchasing documents that display the price list number and name for each line item. These columns show pricing source information when prices come from active or inactive price lists.

  • Price list number and name displayed per line item
  • Works with both active and inactive price lists
  • Functions with or without applied discount groups
  • For alternative price sources like manual entries or blanket agreements, columns remain empty

Enhanced Pricing Visibility

This feature provides immediate visibility into the source of each line item's pricing, helping sales teams understand which price list is driving the price and ensuring accurate quoting and invoicing.
