Copy Manual Remarks to Target Document

Business processes form the foundation of operations, ranging from simple workflows to complex systems with multiple substages. A frequent SAP Business One workflow involves transferring base documents to target documents, with the Remarks field automatically populated with the source document reference.

Manual Remarks Only Option

SAP Business One introduced a new configuration option for users preferring to copy only manually-entered remarks. When enabled, the Remarks field in the target document includes only the manual remarks entered in the base document.

Finding Source Documents

With this option enabled, users can still locate source documents through the Base Document function, maintaining full document traceability without cluttering the Remarks field with automatic reference text.
